Under general supervision, the Veteran Outreach and Recovery Program (VORP) Treatment Specialist serves as a Wisconsin Department of Veterans Affairs (WDVA) representative for veteran and stakeholder outreach coordination for homeless veterans in the rural regions of Wisconsin. The incumbent liaises with several local community agencies, non-profit organizations and federal, state and local government offices and programs. The position’s responsibilities include communications and meetings with organizations, businesses, stakeholders, and veterans.
