Welcome to the Wisconsin Veterans of Foreign Wars State Service Office

In 1899 returning veterans from the Spanish-American war joined together to protest the lack of fair treatment of those who fought for our country.

From their humble beginnings the largest combat veteran group in the world was born. Since these early years where the veteran was basically ignored to today where the veteran is respected and provided with medical care through the Veterans Administration medical centers, to life-long financial compensation, to educational benefits, and dependents benefits, the Veterans of Foreign Wars has led the battle to aid the American veteran in receiving the most equable benefit package in the world.

Most foreign nations provide little to no benefits to those who chose to protect and serve their country. Today in our great country, veterans enjoy the benefits of their service to our great county for themselves and their families.

Thank you for joining me and my comrades of the VFW in fighting for what we have earned through our service to our Country.

You ask how can you help? By becoming a working member of our great organization. By working alongside your comrades, to see that benefits are continually scrutinized to be certain that the best return is given to those who have served.

When you talk to a fellow veteran listen to their story and listen for anything that flashes a red flag in your face and then take them by their hand and see that they contact our Veteran Service Office for the assistance they have earned.

Please visit this page often to be kept up with the most recent benefits.

If you are a veteran in need of help or your meet a veteran who is in need of their benefits have them contact this office.

To all veterans of all conflicts and peacetime we are here to assist you through the ocean of red tape and frustration in dealing with your earned benefits given by law to you, the AMERICAN VETERAN.
