The current Budget Crisis in the US Congress continues to threaten cutbacks to Veterans health care funding. A key vote on the National Defense Authorization Act is scheduled this week in the US Senate. VFW Legislative Director, Bob Wallace, has sent a letter to senators in an effort to defeat a key amendment to this bill. The amendment would have a devastating effect on individual Veterans health costs. The letter is reproduced below.
